Jeff Reinardy MS, CSCS
Winona State University: Head Strength & Conditioning Coach/Director of Fitness
The 2009 Strength and Conditioning Professional of the Year, Jeff is in his 10th year at Winona State University as Strength and Conditioning/ Director of Fitness. He is responsible for 10 Division II teams. Previously he was the head strength and conditioning coach for Olympic sports at Iowa State University, an assistant at the University of Memphis, and an assistant at the US Olympic training center in Colorado. Reinardy was part of two men’s basketball national championships in three appearances, numerous conference championships, and several individual national champions at both the Division I and II levels. He also holds club coach and sports performance certifications through USA Weightlifting, and is the former ADFPA American Squat record holder in the148 weight class and four Minnesota state ADFPA championships. Safe USA Founder
In 1986, Safe founded Safe USA, a world leader in hand crafted, custom made powerlifting belts and shoes, as well as weightlifting equipment. His equipment has been utilized by countless college and professional football programs, along with many other Olympic and professional athletes. He is also the co-creator of StrengthPro, a software program that allows strength training coaches to implement periodization precisely to each athlete’s abilities, so they are neither over or under trained. StrengthPro is now utilized by coaches across the country to improve the performance of their teams.
Scott’s Coaching History:
- USA Weightlifting Level 1 instructor.
- World’s Strongest Man competitor Karl Gillingham.
- Multi-time world champion superheavyweight powerlifter Brad Gillingham.
- Olympic hopeful and Division I champion thrower Karl Erickson.
- Youth weightlifters from the small town of Cannon Falls, Minn., with many of them competing in Schoolage Nationals, Junior Nationals, American Open Weightlifting Championships.
- His own children, including son Nate, a two-time All-American Division I offensive lineman at North Dakota State University, and daughter Cori, a two-time national weightlifting champion, USA Weightlifting Junior Squad member, and participant in the 2004 Olympic Weightlifting Trials.
- Founded the Minnesota High School Weightlifting Association in 1998.
- Launched in 2008 the Safe Weightlifting and Athletic Strength Center in Rochester, MN. A unique, high performance strength training center for athletes.
- Safe has achieved the coaching certification of USA Weightlifting Senior Coach and Regional Coach, as well as certification as an International Sports Scientist Association (ISSA) Specialist in Sports Conditioning, and Specialist in Performance and Nutrition.

Scott Meier, CSCS
Farmington High School: Head Strength & Conditioning Coach / Physical Education Teacher
Scott is a Physical Education Teacher and is the head Strength & Conditioning Coach at Farmington High School. As a weightlifting coach he coached several state championship teams, as well as numerous individual champions.
